Northern Ireland Water and its subsidiary Northern Ireland Water Alpha operate a number of Water Treatment Works supplied from a variety of Raw Water Sources. Depending on the water quality of the Raw Water Sources, it may be necessary to proactively and / or reactively clean the Raw Water Intake Screens due to an increase of invasive and non-invasive species, e.g. pond weeds, zebra mussels etc. Northern Ireland Water and Northern Ireland Water Alpha may require additional miscellaneous commercial diving and marine services. Northern Ireland Water also require annual maintenance and reactive inspection and repair of aids to navigation to be carried out. The aids to navigation comprises of twelve navigational marker buoys and three special mark beacons that have been established along the coast of Northern Ireland. This contract will be split into lots to cover these requirements. Lot 1 – Commercial Diving and Lot 2 – Maintenance of Aids to Navigation.
