Sunny Skies Nursery was established in 2008 as part of the development of Hillside Children’s Centre on the Pennyhill school site in West Bromwich. The nursery entrance is located in Connor Road near to the corner with Holyhedge Road.The nursery has been operated since opening by the Governing Body of Pennyhill Primary School.The nursery has always had a good reputation and has regularly had a waiting list for places.The only Ofsted inspection of the nursery resulted in a judgement of ‘Outstanding’.More recently however, the school have found it increasingly difficult to manage the nursery financially and to recruit a new nursery manager. The school itself has other pressures to address and hence the Governing Body made a decision to ask the local authority to go out to tender to find an alternative provider to run the nursery.The school are committed to a positive working relationship with the new provider.Closing date for submission of Tender is 15:00 on 2 September 2021.

Sandwell MBC will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision.
