Advantage South West is seeking to select, by a competitive tendering process, companies who will be awarded a 4 year Framework (1/4/24 – 31/3/28) from which Members (or their contractors) will award Contracts for the supply of
Lot A – supply of GRP composite doors and associated goods, works and services
Lot B - supply and installation of GRP composite doors and associated goods, works and services.
Lot C - supply of GRP FD30 & FD30s firedoor doorsets and associated goods, works and services
Lot D - supply and installation of GRP FD30 & FD30s firedoor doorsets and associated goods, works and services.
ASW Members or their Installers will enter into Contracts with the successful tenderer for their requirements. These Contracts will be for a maximum of 3 years and will be awarded during the term of the Framework. Members will be able to enter consecutively into more than one Contract for their requirements. Members will be able to enter consecutively into more than one Contract for their requirements thus a successful company can supply for up to 6 years.
For each framework Lot the company that provides the most economically advantageous tender that complies with our requirements will be awarded first place. Members will be able to direct award to this company without further competition. The framework will contain a number of “reserve” companies who will be called upon to supply our Members should the highest placed company prove unable to meet our requirements during the life of the framework. Should the first placed company fail to meet our requirements orders will be placed with the second placed company, and so on. Companies that consistently fail to meet our requirement will be removed from the framework.

ASW Members expect to require an average of around 2500 doors per annum to be supplied and installed over the next 4 years. This volume will be split between the 4 Lots. Note that volumes for all Lots are difficult to precisely identify at this time due to decarbonisation works for Lots A & B and implication of FRAs for Lots C & D. Should we become more confident on the information for volumes/Lot splits in advance of tender submission we will provide an update.
