The Authority intends to launch a tender which seeks to appoint a single managed service provider to supply Laboratory Chemicals and Consumables from May 2022.

The appointed Contractor will be required to supply Laboratory Chemicals and Consumables (including via sub-contractors) to selected Defra Organisations.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

A virtual Early Supplier Engagement Event will be held on 12th August 2021 from 10:30 am until 12:00 noon via Microsoft Teams.

The purpose of the Supplier Event is to provide a forum for potential suppliers to gain a broad understanding of potential future requirements. It will also be used to share and gain feedback which may be used to shape the proposition before any formal procurement commences.

All those organisations wishing to attend the Supplier Event should register on Bravo (https://defra.bravosolution.co.uk/web/login.html?_ncp=1627473881700.224708-1) and respond to the questions provided in the dummy Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) under Project 33547 on or before Thursday 5th August.

Slides and Q&A from the engagement will be published after the Event.
