A national Ward Manager Leadership Development Programme. It forms part of the Culture workstream of the Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Quality Transformation programme, delivering on one of the six interventions of this workstream. The Ward Manager Leadership Development Programme (£750k in year 1 and £750k in year 2) is focused on developing the leadership skills to foster person-centred, compassionate and therapeutic cultures of care within MHLDA inpatient staff teams. This investment will fund a supplier or partnership of suppliers with expertise in: successful delivery of interventions across the MHLDA inpatient sector; meaningful co-production; and multi-disciplinary partnership working to achieve measurable outcomes in staff and patient experience.
