- Local site Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) is unable to accommodate the full demands of the service, and other nearby sites are equally unable to accommodate, many of which have been identified as being at capacity.
- There are no other NHS or private providers within reasonable travel distance to offer suitable provision
- ROH’s MRI services meet imaging protocols required by trust radiologists, and offer clinically acceptable image-quality. ROH’s service can accommodate administering contrast, and can provide clinical cover and crash teams for high-risk patients.
- Patient feedback confirms that the experience of ROH MRI scanning is consistently excellent
