Scope
Description
This requirement is for planned preventative maintenance, testing, inspection, and breakdown response for standby diesel generators across participating Trust sites. The contract may also be used, on an optional call‑off basis, to instruct like‑for‑like generator replacement or installation works where required.
The contract may be accessed by other NHS Trusts within the Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull ICB Cluster as permitted in the tender documents.

Description of possible extension:
The initial contract term shall be three years with the potential for two separate one-year extension periods by election of the Contracting Authority, on such notice and for such periods as is specified by the Contract.
Options
The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.
The Contracting Authority may, during the term, instruct optional like‑for‑like generator replacement or installation works on a call‑off basis where required. No minimum volume of such works is guaranteed, and all optional works are subject to separate written instruction and available funding.
