two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Echocardiographers to carry out scans and associated reporting at our Halton site. The Trust will be looking for approximately 55 scans per week but this may increase or decrease depending on the budget available.

- We are confident the contract period allows for delivery of the indicative volumes.

- Our initial conversation also included activity at Warrington Hospital, so we would be interested in understanding flexibility across both sites through the course of the contract, specifically for weekdays.

- Xyla Elective Care are happy to support with flexibility of service and would suggest capacity periods of 3 months over the duration of this contract to ensure that volume supplied matches the needs of the trust

- Current projected availability for June, based on 3x members of staff, whose availability has been ring-fenced for Warrington.

-At least one member of staff is familiar with the Trust

-Availability of 24 clinics (immediately bookable) through June, for an initial minimum of ~300 patients

-This is without any weekend capacity or expanded recruitment and based on a combination of short and long days as an average projection.

- Our existing staffing pool includes options for up to 8 additional staff in the local area for resilience and additional capacity over weekdays/weekends.
