Description of the Procurement
The current proposal is to appoint a suitably experienced design and build delivery partner who will lead on community engagement and will take on the role of fundraiser and principal designer.
It is recognised that bringing this vision to realisation will require considerable thought and input from a specialist skate park organisation who can build upon the legacy created by the original designers back in the 1970’s.
The appointed company will work closely with Harrow Council and its Community Partners throughout the project to deliver a long lasting and valued facility that can continue to be used by future generations.
The Council is keen to seek input from companies to shape a tender that maximises opportunities for all stakeholders.
Input is sought on:
1. Staged project approach
2. Project duration
3. Project feasibility
4. Design approach
5. Market approach
6. Financial cost
7. Designer led funding approach
8. Consultation and community engagement
9. Warranty and defects liability
10. Any other relevant considerations
The Council will hold a virtual market engagement session 21 September 2021 at 14.00 with prospective delivery partners. In order to help shape discussions, we would like interested providers to come prepared to discuss a series of questions covering the topics listed. To receive further information and take part in a market engagement session, please express your interest emailing: leila.gillespie@harrow.gov.uk
A Microsoft Teams invite will be issued to all that have expressed interest by the 17th September.
