Engagement process description
UKHSA is seeking to appoint a provider for the provision of sachets for radiation dosemeters (extremity finger stalls and head bands). The sachets are required for the Personal Dosimetry Service based at Chilton. UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) provides personal dosimetry services (PDS) which measure the amount of radiation exposure received by workers. The service is provided to users of ionising radiation in a variety of sectors, e.g. medical and nuclear, which measures workers' radiation doses by means of dosemeters or "badges". We are carrying out a Request for Information (RFI) for this project as part of the pre-tender market engagement process. If you would be interested in submitting a tender for this requirement, please could you email science.tendering@ukhsa.gov.uk with the subject: TLD Sachets to request copies of the RFI documents. The deadline for responses to the RFI is 13th May 2025 at 5pm.
