The Cloud Collaboration for Asset Management agreement is for the provision of an asset management service for the Environment Agency over a core period of two years with two one year options. The procurement was conducted through the Crown Commercial Service Vertical Application Solutions (VAS) contract with a direct award to Asite Solutions Limited. Although this is a call-off from the G-Cloud 13 Framework, the justification for this Direct Award is under regulation 32 (2) (b) of the PCR 2015 for use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication is against reason ii) “competition is absent for technical reasons” – the Supplier has been selected on technical criteria due to their innate knowledge of the EA estate and the asset management required.
