two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Service is commissioned by NWL CCG to monitor the provision of Continuing Healthcare Services at home across North West London.

This variation is to extend the existing contractual arrangements within the current contract terms with the provider Carehome Selection Ltd T/A CHS for a further period of 12 months. Consequently, with effect from 1st April 2022 the contract expiry date will therefore change from 31st March 2022 to 31st March 2023.

Aims and objectives of Service include:
• To ensure effective monitoring and oversight of CHC domiciliary care against Caretrack system data.
• Enable the CCGs to achieve and meet its fiduciary duties by paying for actual care supplied rather than commissioned care.
• Support the CCGs in achieving budget balance by successful delivery of QIPP
• Identify and provide feedback on the views of patients and their Next of Kin (NOK)/Representative on their experience of the quality of care they receive.
• Review, monitor and validate supplier invoices and follow up queries to ensure the CCG is only invoiced for CHC domiciliary care delivered.
