Scope
Description
The Authority has a requirement for the provision of services for the design and production of the BBMF Lancaster aircraft hydraulic flapjack part, quantity two.
The Lancaster aircraft is currently undergoing maintenance. One hydraulic flapjack must be provided by November 2026, and the second by June 2027.
This contract contains core work, for the provision of the hydraulic flapjack cylinder and end cap (FJC + EC), and an option, for the additional cost for the provision of the entire hydraulic flapjack unit (FJA). The Authority will determine whether this option shall be exercised after contract award.
The supplier for this work must be compliant with the technical requirements set out in the ITT.

The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.
The contract contains an option, for the additional cost for the provision of the entire hydraulic flapjack unit (FJA). The Authority is currently assessing whether this additional work will be required, and the outcome of this investigation will determine whether or not the option is exercised after the contract is awarded.
