Description

Natural Resources Wales is establishing a new framework to secure contractor resource for delivering peatland restoration projects as part of the National Peatland Action Programme. The programme has the objective of restoring peatland habitats across Wales. Works under the framework will include site preparation and clearance on deep peat, restoration of hydrological function, mechanical and manual vegetation clearance (such as scrub removal), and both tracked excavator and manual work to restore peat-bog hydrology.
