The purpose of this service is to install Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems to modern standards whilst improving security within and around certain Low Rise Blocks of apartments in Newcastle and Ballynahinch. The requirement also includes for the installation of door access control to 1No. 3-Storey Block in Ballynahinch. The design, installation and commissioning will also ensure that any recordings can be securely stored either on a central server, to be supplied and installed in the Client’s District Office, and easily retrieved if called upon as evidential use by the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) or by the Client’s internal security. Refer to tender documents, when made available, for further details.

The Open procedure is expected to be used.

The award criteria is expected to be set as 100% price since the requirement is projected to be below threshold.

The successful Economic Operator will be required to provide those social value requirements identified as mandatory from 1st September 2021, as per Procurement Policy Note 01/21 - Scoring Social Value.

The form of contract is expected to be NEC3 - Engineering Construction Short Contract (ECSC).
