two.1.4) Short description

Hampshire County Council (the "Council") is looking to commission high quality supported accommodation, in the form of supported lodgings placements to children and young people aged 16 to 21 for whom the Council has a duty to offer accommodation.

The number of Beds for the Supported Lodgings Service required in total is expected to be around 90 beds. This has been split into the following 3 provisions: Emergency Beds, Low lodgings, and Supported Lodgings,

Supported Lodgings will provide the placement of the Young Person with a 'host' in a home setting (can be single host/family/dual hosts with or without children etc).

The Young person will have their own bedroom in a host's home.

The host will provide the young person with approximately 2-15 hours support per week

Low Lodgings will provide the placement of the Young Person with a 'host' in a home setting (can be single host/family/dual hosts with or without children etc).

The Young person will have their own bedroom in a host's home.

-The host does not provide any direct support to the Young Person

Emergency Beds are intended to provide same day emergency accommodation to children and young people within a Supported Lodgings environment, with the view that the Service Provider, Host and referrer will work with the young person to move them to an appropriate placement.

This notice is to inform the market of a market engagement session taking place on Wednesday 19th June at 2pm.

The market engagement session will be held over teams and will cover:

- The service to be delivered

- The procurement process

Suppliers interested in attending will need to register via the Councils electronic tendering platform https://in-tendhost.co.uk/hampshire/aspx/Home

Suppliers will need to attach to the Supported Lodgings project and notify the Council of their interest via the correspondence function. Responses should include

- the name of the organisation

- the name of the attendees

-email addresses of the attendees so that an MS Teams invite can be sent for the event.
