The Crisis House can help avoid the need for service users to go into hospital or provide support to help step down service users from stays in hospital.
The Safe Havens service should incorporate clinical support with the current safe havens and crisis well-being cafés through 9 safe havens of which:

• 3 will offer 24/7 rapid access and assessment. They will be co located on general medical acute hospital sites
- open access 3pm to midnight (outside of these times access will be via professional referral)
- staffed by a blend of support workers and clinicians
• 6 will operate 7 days per week in community based settings
- open access 3pm to midnight
- staffed by support workers
The contract duration is expected to be 3 years with up to a 2-year extension option.
The indicative total contract value (over 5 years) against anticipated activity trajectories is expected to be approximately £13million.
