Description
Blackpool Council is looking to appoint suitably qualified and highly experienced global consultants to promote a strategically important leisure development opportunity to investors, that exists right in the heart of the resort, adjacent to the iconic Blackpool Tower and incorporating land on its famous Golden Mile.
Redevelopment of the site is key to Blackpool's regeneration and central to our ambition of developing a new, exciting and unique tourist destination with world-class facilities. The site occupies a prime location in Blackpool with an element of the site occupying the famous Golden Mile, within the shadow of Blackpool Tower. It lies on the southern edge of the town centre and enjoys direct connection with the M55 motorway via Central Corridor.
The appointed consultancy team will be required to lead on the marketing of the site and supporting the Council in identifying the most appropriate use for the site and securing appropriate high quality investor/developer interests.

Description of possible extension:

The Contracting Authority may also identify future requirements for additional services related to provision of marketing and development consultancy. Additional or extended services are considered within scope of this procurement exercise, without guarantee or obligation on either party and to be agreed between the Contracting Authority and Supplier.
