Open Future Opportunity – This means the buyer is not at present ready to invite bid applications, but early notification has been provided.

Swansea Council Adult Services and Child and Family Services will be establishing a Single Framework for accommodation with associated support for young people between the ages of 16-24 to develop their skills and confidence to live successful independent lives.

There will be five separate lots available as follows.

- Emergency Accommodation

- Temporary Supported Accommodation

- Managed Accommodation

- Supported Lodgings

- Permanent Supported Accommodation

Young people accessing accommodation under one of the Lots may be more vulnerable than the vast majority of their peers and may have multiple unmet support needs. Some of these may include but not be limited to drug and alcohol misuse, experience of adverse childhood experiences, vulnerability to exploitation, learning difficulties, mental health, and offending issues.

This information aims to provide notice on Swansea Council’s commissioning intentions to allow time for current and future providers to prepare for the forthcoming opportunity.

All details will be provided in the tender documentation. We anticipate publishing the Single Framework opportunity in July/August 2023; however this may be subject to change.
