Hampshire County Council (HCC) are carrying out this request for information (RFI) in relation to the supply and delivery of an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Parking Solution.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This RFI is open to suppliers who can provide ANPR Parking Solutions and provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of the procurement strategy. Furthermore, this activity will assist HCC in specifying their requirements, and gain market intelligence of how suppliers could meet the needs of the Authority.

This parking solution is key and a critical income revenue stream for Country Parks generating £1.6 million per year. Introducing the ANPR system increased the number of people paying for parking significantly. The current contract expires in 2025 therefore, HCC are seeking to understand what other solutions are available in the marketplace.
