This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Intention to Award Notice following a competitive process for Berkshire West Mental Health Support Services (MHST) to NHS Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire and Berkshire West ICB (The Commissioner).

The reference of the Contract Notice published previously is: 2024/S 000-040764

The contract period is 1st July 2025 to 30th June 2028 for 3 years (option to extend for 2 years (to 30th June 2030)).

The total contract value for this procurement is £14,125,000 excluding VAT for the life of the contract (including extensions). VAT is of 0 value for this service.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the HealthCare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.

The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decisions makers by midnight on 09th May 2025.

six.3) Additional information

The SCW procurement team supported the project in the management of conflicts throughout the process. In line with national guidance https://www.england.nhs.uk/long-read/managing-conflicts-of-interest-in-the-nhs/ conflicts of interest were given a high priority within the procurement, with 'conflicts of interest' a standing item at project group meetings.

Project members were required to complete Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality forms prior to receiving any sensitive documentation. There were no declarations of conflict as part of this process.
