NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) on behalf of all NHS Scotland Health Boards intends to establish a national Framework Agreement for the supply, installation, maintenance, and support of fire and security systems and associated equipment.

NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), intends to undertake a tendering exercise to establish a national Framework Agreement for the provision of Fire and Security Services and Equipment.

The Framework will support all NHS Scotland Health Boards, Special Boards, and associated organisations, covering a wide range of estates environments including acute hospitals, community facilities, laboratories, and office buildings.

The scope is expected to include (but is not limited to):

Fire Safety Systems & Equipment

Fire detection and alarm systems

Fire extinguishers (supply and servicing)

Fire suppression systems

Fire safety signage

Associated installation, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive works

Security Systems & Equipment

CCTV systems

Access control systems

Intruder alarm systems

Perimeter detection

Remote monitoring

Associated installation, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive works

The Framework is expected to be divided into lots, which may include system type and/or geographical region. The final structure will be informed by market engagement.

NSS wishes to engage with suppliers to gather views on the proposed scope, lotting, market capacity and innovation within the sector.

A supplier engagement questionnaire and optional supplier briefing session will be organised. Full details will be communicated following publication of this PIN.
