Scope
Description
Carmarthenshire County Council will be tendering for a Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention Service in the coming weeks and is keen to engage with the market prior to undertaking the formal procurement process. The intention is for the new Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention Service to be delivered county-wide with the aim of preventing suicide and self-harm by:
1. Providing support to individuals in crisis or at risk.
2. Delivering therapeutic and emotional support to those affected by self-harm or suicide.
3. Building awareness, reduce stigma, and empower communities to respond effectively
4. Undertaking community engagement and early interventions.
A Suicide & Self-Harm Prevention Engagement Event will be held on Monday 12th May 12noon to 13:30 on Microsoft Teams. Organisations wishing to learn more about this opportunity should register their interest in attending by sending an email to: CommissioningDevelopment@carmarthenshire.gov.uk
