Provision of service for the processing and final disposal of Municipal Waste arising from Nottingham City Council
Lot 1. Dry Recyclable Materials: Household & Commercial
Description
Loose co-mingled dry recyclables comprising all paper; cardboard; plastic bottles, tubs, pots and trays; cans and tins, glass, foil, cartons (tetrapak), flexible plastics (by March 2027), and potentially other materials by arrangement.
Lot 2. Residual Waste Streams
Description
Consists of the following Bulky waste including POP's waste
RCV waste (general waste),Street cleansing waste (litter), Street Sweepings (mechanical sweepers), Dewatered gully waste, Mixed Wood, Green Waste (organic materials from gardens, parks, and similar environments) and Mixed waste
Lot 3. Inert/rubble
Description
Derived from Highways and other similar works undertaken by the Council in single or mixed quantities of brick, concrete, soil, road plannings, paving, mastic asphalt and other inert materials with variable composition.
Lot 4. Hazardous waste
Description
Several hazardous wastes types the council collects, largely through clearing dumped waste / spillages. Most common of which are gas bottles, propane, butane, nitrous oxide (N2O) and paint and oil, although we may be required to collect other hazardous waste materials in clear fly-tipping.
