Synopsis: This procurement relates to the establishment of a National Facility for Ultra High Field ("UHF") Magnetic Resonance Imaging ("MRI") to be located at the Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre at the University of Nottingham. The tender is for the Passive Shielding and RF Cabin. Objectives: • To secure value for money goods and services for the UoN and UKRI;• To create an innovative and world leading national facility for ultra-high field magnetic resonance imaging;• Establish a contract which agrees quality, price, delivery timescales, installation schedule, and aftermarket services accordance with UoN’s requirements; and• Eliminate risk of modern-day slavery within the supply chain.Estimated Value: The budget for this project (1832/ITT/SC) is around £2,000,000 including all import duty costs. As this project is focused on medical research the goods and installation are expected to qualify for Zero-VAT (UK Value Added Tax) rating. A Zero VAT Rated Certificate will be is
