***THIS NOTICE IS FOR A MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT ONLY***

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of NHS Black Country and West Birmingham CCG in association with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council are looking to appoint suitably experienced and qualified providers to provide a Residential Short Breaks Service for children and young people with a disability. The service will provide both planned and emergency Short Break Residential Care to children and young people who are categorised in a priority group as follows:

• Group A comprises children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (who have severe learning disabilities or behaviour which is challenging) or those children and young people whose challenging behaviour is associated with other impairments such as severe learning disabilities.

• Group B comprises children and young people with complex health needs including those with a disability and life limiting conditions, and/or those who require palliative care and/or those with associated impairments such as cognitive or sensory impairments and/or have moving/handling needs and/or require special equipment/adaptations.

In order to best understand what the market is able to offer, the CCG will run a market engagement event on Thursday, 30th June at 09:40am. This will be a face-to-face event which will be held at a venue to be announced on application for a place. Providers are asked to limit the places requested to 2 per organisation. Places should be booked via EU Supply (link below). Providers will be able to download the service specification and complete a survey completion which will inform certain aspects of the market engagement event. In addition to this, interested parties may choose to book one-to-one sessions with the Commissioners following on from the event. 20 minute slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis with sessions intended to start at around 11:10 am with the final slot at 4:10pm. Providers may choose whether to attend 1 to 1 slots in person or virtually.
