The Contractor shall assist the Employer to maintain and improve the current stock of street lights, illuminated bollards and illuminated signs.The Contractor may be required to undertake some or all of the following activities as instructed and specified by the Employer’s Contract Manager:• Install new or replace existing lanterns• Install new or replace existing illuminated traffic sign light unit or traffic bollard unit• Bulk change and clean lamp units, illuminated traffic sign light units or traffic bollard units• Undertake periodic electrical testing of street lighting assets• Provide electrical operatives on a day rate basis• Provide electrical operatives to cover an out of hours standby service • Painting of new and existing assets

The initial term of the Contract will be for the period of 2 years from commencement but may be extended by mutual agreement by 2 increments of 1 years to an expiry date no later than 30/09/2026. The services will be subject of review in the 2nd year and the results of those reviews will inform the Council’s decision whether or not to offer any extension.
