The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services for Home to School or College transport for residents based in Rutland on a number of routes as defined in the Schedules.

Lot Requirements:

LOT 1- All Primary, Secondary and Post-16 Education Buses.

Bids on individual routes within Lot 1 will not be accepted. Bidders can submit a bid under Lot 1 for Contract 1 or Contract 2 or Both.

LOT 2- Specialist Transport services (Minibus & Taxi)

A bidder may submit as many bids for routes within Lot 2, as they wish. There are no restrictions.

Please specify the price per day for operation.

LOT 3 – Pence per mile Taxis

Bids for this Lot will be used to establish a Framework for identifying potential suppliers of:

• short notice requirements

• short term route requirements

• emergency transport services

The Council will offer these requirements to suppliers in turn according to their pence per mile rate on a ranked basis.
