two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The providers will be registered to take pupils under the age of 16 on their roll for KS4 provision, they will not be mainstream schools. The provider's PDC location will be no more than 1 hour's road travel distance from Stockton-on-Tees.

The Local Authority proposes that there will be 25 places for the most difficult to engage children. These can be from one or more providers.

They will work in partnership with Local Authority to support reengagement and identify the support and provision required to successfully transition to post 16 education or training.
