Scope

Description

Bracknell Forest Council intends to create a new framework for the provision of older people's residential care.

This framework will support new placements only, however if a current care provider is successful in joining the framework then their existing packages will be novated to the framework terms and conditions. Current care providers who are unsuccessful in joining the framework will retain all existing care packages (unless removed for other reasons), but will no longer be offered new packages in the first instance

The Council is still determining the precise structure and service model for this framework, and therefore is unable to provide further detail regarding the Lot structure at this time. Interested parties should note this may change prior to the publication of the tender, and therefore should not consider current arrangements as indicative of the framework design.

The Council intends to carry out pre-market engagement and consultation in early 2026 to involve interested parties in this service design.
