two.1.4) Short description

The Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG) has ambitious plans for the future of its Public Health services and is looking to invite prospective tenderers to a series of market engagement events for the following services:

• Drug and alcohol

• Substance misuse

• Sexual health (general and specialist)

• Smoking cessation

• Diet and nutrition

• Exercise and physical activity

• Health and Wellbeing

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is changing its approach to commissioning public health services. We would like to invite potential providers to a series of market engagement events where we can share our ambition and vision for commissioning the delivery of public health services. It will also be an opportunity for us to gather information from providers as well as answer any questions you might have.

The contract term is anticipated as 5 years, however this is indicative only and subject to change. The procurement is also likely to involve Lots, the detail of which will be provided later. These events are information gathering exercises, intended to assist the Council in understanding the level and range of service provider interest in delivering these services – the response does not commit the Council or respondents to a future procurement (nor

provide any process exemptions or preferential treatment to any parties expressing an interest) and accordingly any subsequent procurement may use an entirely different model to the one described in the meeting. External attendees and their organisations shall have no claim to any intellectual property rights which may be created in connection with matters discussed.

To confirm your attendance, or if you have any queries, please contact procurement@royalgreenwich.gov.uk Please indicate which event/s you wish to attend and provide details of a maximum of two attendees per organisation per event. Attendance will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Providers may wish to attend all/some of the events below. However, all documentation presented at the events and all questions asked and answered will be published.
