This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Intention to Award Notice following a competitive process for Wheelchair Services in Berkshire West to NHS Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire and Berkshire West ICB (The Commissioner).

The contract notice previously published on FTS is: 2025/S 000-001828

The contract period is 15th August 2025 to 14th August 2028 for 3 years (option to extend for 2 years (to 14th August 2030)).

The total contract value for this procurement is £4,613,149.34 including VAT for the life of the contract (including extensions) and £3,690,519.47 excluding VAT.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the HealthCare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.

The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decisions makers by midnight on 2nd May 2025.

The SCW procurement team supported the project in the management of conflicts throughout the process. In line with national guidance (Managing conflicts of interest: revised statutory guidance for CCGs 2017) conflicts of interest were given a high priority within the procurement, with 'conflicts of interest' a standing item at project group meetings.

Project members were required to complete Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality forms prior to receiving any sensitive documentation. There were no declarations of conflict as part of this process.
