Before embarking on the Procurement, Translink/NITHC wish to engage with the marketplace to gather intelligence which will inform the Procurement Strategy for this contract which will involve seeking a supplier to provide and install Electric Charging Stations across a portfolio of sites within Northern Ireland. Translink intend to hold either virtual or face to face interviews with each interested supplier during July 2022 – Exact dates to be arranged. Interested suppliers are requested to email their contact information to Steven Rodgers at steven.rodgers@translink.co.uk NO LATER THAN 3pm Friday 24 June 2022.

NITHC/Translink currently operate 29 car park locations throughout Northern Ireland. Translink/NITHC are looking to explore options for the supply, Install and maintenance of Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations within each of these sites. There is also a possibility of other sites being included during the initial contract period.

The purpose of the Pre-Market Engagement process is to obtain information that provides the most efficient way of installing and managing EV charging points.

Translink/NITHC are also seeking information on how the EV Charging Station can be monitored via a remote location in their offices which is most likely in Belfast City Centre.

The initial contract will be for the supply and installation of EV Charing Stations. Further to information received during the Pre-Market Engagement process an option for further maintenance may be included.
