The British Council’s is soliciting proposals in response to this Invitation to Tender for selection of vendor to provide software and implementation of Grant Management Tool (GMT) from qualified suppliers. The overall objective of the GMT is to provide a single online solution for creating and submitting grant proposals and for establishing and managing grant awards and a variety of contracts from receipt/set-up through project close out. The British Council is seeking to leverage the new system to maximise efficiency and to accommodate continued improvement of its grant projects processes. The solution will allow management of grant processes (including application submission, eligibility check, allocation and processing of evaluation and peer review, generating correspondence with applicants, reporting and monitoring and evaluation beyond the duration of the projects), workflow, and approvals that are critical for the daily operations of projects administration.

The overall objective of the GMT is to provide a single online solution for creating and submitting grant proposals and for establishing and managing grant awards and a variety of contracts from receipt/set-up through project close out. The British Council is seeking to leverage the new system to maximise efficiency and to accommodate continued improvement of its grant projects processes. The solution will allow management of grant processes (including application submission, eligibility check, allocation and processing of evaluation and peer review, generating correspondence with applicants, reporting and monitoring and evaluation beyond the duration of the projects), workflow, and approvals that are critical for the daily operations of projects administration.The initial budget allocated for this service will be for a small-scale launch of up to GBP 100,00 excluding VAT as a pilot phase, with the possibility to be expanded to our global organisational solution which will have the budget of up to GBP 600,000 excluding VAT. The British Council will look for value for money in all aspects of the service.
