Description
Strategic Command, as part of the Ministry of Defence (MoD), are seeking expressions of interest and pre-market engagement from suppliers for a requirement.
The requirement is for a service that can provide and deliver salvaged aircraft hulls and provide a secure facility that is suitable for hosting MoD-led real life airplane tactical entry training sessions. These sessions are foreseen to be needed once or twice every six months.
The specification for this service is as follows:
• Provide an aircraft hull from a commercial passenger aircraft. (Note: aircraft hulls will be damaged during the training sessions).
• Provide and install rental landing gear for the aircraft hull.
• 'Plug' aircraft hull for re-pressurisation.
• Provide and install one over wing exit door emergency escape slide.
• Remove and dispose of aircraft hull.
• Provide an outdoor area that is suitable for MoD-led real life airplane tactical entry training sessions. The outdoor area must be shielded from view so that only MoD personnel are exposed to a view of the training.
• Provide a suitable indoor area to prepare and run a command during each training session.
• Provide secure parking for 30 vehicles.
• Provide an airport fire and rescue service that can attend the site within 30 mins.

Engagement process description
The purpose of this preliminary market engagement is to identify the number of suppliers that may be able to deliver the requirement identified. In order to facilitate this, please could suppliers provide answers to the following questions:
• Do you have prior experience delivering a similar requirement? And if so, could you provide detail of your experience (e.g., goods/services delivered, customer, value, duration)?
• One aspect of the requirement is to provide airport fire and rescue service within 30 minutes, is this feasible?
