The purpose is to gather information from the marketplace to help develop the scope and potential procurement options related to the provision of Psychological Supervision for Forensic Science Staff.
Engaging with you (and others in the marketplace) will ensure you have an opportunity to help the Scottish Police Authority better understand the market's capacity and to shape any future procurement exercise for the benefit of the Police Service of Scotland (Police Scotland).

The Scottish Police Authority (SPA) has released this PIN as a Request for Information (RFI) to potential suppliers of Psychological Supervision for Forensic Science staff.
The publication of this PIN will be used to undertake preliminary market consultation and to inform the market of the Authority's intention to procure a Psychological Supervision Pilot.
The scope of any future procurement exercise has not been fully defined. The information received in this RFI will be used to help identify points for improvement of the support provided to meet the current and future needs of those working within Forensic Science and other trauma facing roles.
The information provided by potential suppliers in response to this PIN will assist in developing the requirements for a formal procurement.
This exercise is being carried out in advance of any formal procurement exercise. It is not a pre-qualification or tendering exercise. At this point in time no date for the formal procurement exercise is known.
