Wokingham Borough Council are inviting tenders for preliminary and detailed design of an LTN 1/20 compliant cycle scheme on Woodlands Avenue (Woodley to Reading), with the required end output of a detailed design package suitable for construction.
Public consultation has been undertaken on the route and is available to review on the Wokingham Borough Council website. An outline design has been prepared and the drawings and design report are available to download with this ITT.
Full details of the scope of works required are provided in Schedule 1.
It is proposed to divide the route into three phases for the detailed design, focusing on delivering Phase 1 as early as possible to enable construction to start in March 2022.
