NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS Commissioning Board (referred to as the Commissioner), is seeking to identify interested Home Parenteral Nutrition service providers to submit their expression of interest for this service

NHS England is looking to gauge the potential market interest for providing these services and would like to hear from suitably qualified and experienced providers with the necessary capacity and capability.

The Commissioners are issuing this Market Engagement Exercise to enable a Trust to confirm it wishes to be considered as an HPN service working as part of a network with the Adult Integrated Centres for Severe Intestinal failure.

This process will apply to all Regions except the North West which is co-ordinating a similar process for HPN within its Region.

Assurance criteria are issued as part of this market engagement exercise so that Trusts are clear what they need to demonstrate in the required Operational Policy.

If a Trust previously submitted a bid as an Integrated Centre but was unsuccessful, you are still required to complete this questionnaire.

Trusts wishing to be considered as the HPN service will, as part of this market engagement exercise, need to respond to a brief questionnaire and produce a draft Operational Policy for the Severe Intestinal Failure Home Parenteral service.

Depending on the outcome of the Expressions of Interest, the Commissioner reserves the right to direct award to provider(s) with no further competition where there is a single provider expressing an interest in a region who can meet the requirements.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 12:00 hrs midday on Monday 26th July 2021. No expressions of interest after this time will be accepted.
