The whole life value of the contract is estimated at £600,000.

six.3) Additional information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Intention to Award Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 29.04.2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award a contract under the competitive process of the PSR.’

You must:
- The evaluation panel included the General Manager of GI Surgery, A Consultant Bariatric and Upper GI Surgeon and a GI Consultant;
- There were no declared conflicts of interest
- The relative importance of the key criteria was based on the Trust's priorities with value at (30%), then quality (40%) followed by integration, collaboration and service sustainability (15%), Social value (10%) and finally improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice (5%). Total quality score at 70% vs 30% value.

The winning bid scored a weighted quality and score of 61.63% out of 70% and 30% out of 30% for value. This gave a total score of 91.63% The scores were awarded based on the criteria set out in the tender documentation.
