Aster Group Ltd (Aster) is issuing this Prior Information Notice (PIN) to invite companies to participate in a market engagement event, in support of Aster Property's future requirements for Property Investment and Planned Maintenance services and works across the South East, South West and London. Aster would like to invite interested companies to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to attend the market engagement event to be held during w/c 10th July 2023. Please complete the EOI by following the link https://forms.office.com/e/z9YYamJLqM by Friday, 30 June 2023. Following receipt of completed EOI, Aster will issue an invitation to the in person event and provide additional information including location, agenda and attendees. The scope is considered suitable for companies that are small or medium enterprises (SME) as well as larger enterprises.

Aster Group Ltd (Aster) manages around 36,000 homes across the South East, South West and London, and build around 1,000 new homes every year. Over 90,000 people live in an Aster home and our aim is to provide safe, well maintained homes and modern, reliable customer services. We're seeking to host a market engagement event to connect with existing and potential contractors and suppliers, to inform Aster Property's future procurement activities and gather feedback for consideration ahead of issuing opportunities relating to Property Investment and Planned Maintenance works or services. The event will aim to provide more information about our business, what is important to us and our customers, how interested companies can participate in any future procurement process, as well as offering an opportunity to participate in group sessions to share feedback and ask questions. Aster are keen to ensure that all contractors and suppliers capable of providing one or more of the following workstreams within the South East, South West and London, consider engaging with this opportunity. The scope of the market engagement event is intended to cover:- Aids and Adaptations- Commercial Building Installations- Communal Area Upgrades- Door and Window Installations- Drainage and Groundworks- External Decorations and Fabric Works- Fire Risk Assessment Remediations- Kitchen and Bathroom Refurbishments- Mechanical and Electrical Component Installations- Roofing Replacement- Sustainability and Energy Efficiency - Other Planned Projects (e.g. bin stores, latent defects, insurance works, estate regeneration)The estimated total value of outsourced works and services is approximately £30m per annum, across the workstreams within the scope of this market engagement event. It is considered due to the multiple geographic locations and workstreams included, future opportunities will be suitable for small or medium enterprises (SMEs) as well as large enterprises.Aster would like to invite interested companies to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to attend the market engagement event to be held during w/c 10th July 2023. In issuing this PIN and engaging with the market, Aster Group Ltd is not committing to conduct any procurement in relation to any element of the requirements within the categories stated.Equally, non-participation in this market engagement event will not be taken into account in any future procurement activities and will not exclude any organisation from submitting a tender in any future competitions.It is currently anticipated that any formal procurement relating to the provision of Property Investment and Planned Maintenance categories will be subject to Public Contracts Regulations (PCR) 2015.Aster Group Ltd reserve the right to reject requests to attend should it become necessary due to the level of interest, limitations or responses that indicate irrelevant services (e.g. those not suitable for the categories stated) or other purposes.
