Nottinghamshire County Council (the Council) intends to commission a Framework Agreement for a Young Carers Support Service.

The Framework Agreement will cover the County of Nottinghamshire, including the City of Nottingham. It will be available for any relevant public body to utilise within Nottinghamshire, including the following:

• NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire

• Nottinghamshire County Council

• Nottingham City Council

The Service will deliver young carers support services for young people providing unpaid care. Support will be provided in a personalised, holistic fashion based on the presenting needs of the individual working in collaboration with a range of services and voluntary sector providers to meet needs and outcomes.

The framework will run for an initial period of three years with a possible two-year extension.

The initial Call-Off contract is expected to commence on 1st October 2023 and continue for four years. There is an option to extend for a further four years
