Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust (BWCET) is a fundamental part of the newly agreed Newcastle and Hexham Catholic Diocese Trust model, with a current position of 47 schools, soon to be 48, covering the west of the Diocesan region. BWCET is a mix of 5 secondary schools, 41 primary, 1 first school and 1 middle school which supports 16,500 students and includes 2,000 members of staff. The aim of Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust is to provide an outstanding education for all students attending schools within the Trust.
As part of this commitment, BWCET has awarded a 3 Year Contract with a single Supplier to manage all staff absence protection requirements across the individual schools within the Trust and the central team.
