The Flying Start Programme requires provision of a part-time childcare place for all 2-3 year old children residing in Flying Start catchments. The Service to be provided is the delivery of childcare places (defined as up to 5 x 2.5 hours of childcare a week for up to 39 weeks a year) to the standards as specified within the Welsh Government guidance for the Flying Start Programme. It is imperative that these service continue to provide to the specified requirements at the existing location in order to secure consistency for Flying Start children living in the area. This is an ongoing requirement as part of the Welsh Government Flying Start programme. The childcare provision delivered is regulated by CIW.
