two.1.4) Short description

The Demolition, Disablement and Access (DDA) Programme within the Specialist EOD, Exploitation & Countermeasures (SEEC) Delivery Team (DT) have launched two projects to procure commercial off the shelf (COTS) method of entry (MoE) support equipment and specialist climbing equipment. The MoE equipment requirement consists of a large variety of hand tools, ancillaries and materials, roughly 125 items. The climbing equipment consists of variety of consumable climbing equipment and specialist access equipment, roughly 300 items.

It is the intent to invite participation from suppliers who are commercially compliant and can meet the requirement of being able to support and supply all equipment types.

It is the DT intention to find one Prime supplier to support the ongoing procurement of both equipment lists, with the procurement contract lasting 10 years for the MoE equipment and 5 years for the climbing equipment.

The existing Defence Contracts Online (DCO) platform is being phased out during 2021 and replaced with Defence Sourcing Portal (DSP).
