OCC has a statutory duty to provide Short Breaks for Disabled Children, and they a vital part of the continuum of support available to disabled children, carers and families.
Short Breaks have two aims: to enable the child to participate in fun, interesting and safe activities; and to provide a break from caring for the parents/carers.
