Scottish Procurement is considering establishing a collaborative arrangement for the provision of Mobile Voice and Data Services which will be available to Scottish public sector bodies. Consideration is being given to replacing the current framework for a period up to 4 years. The scope of this collaborative arrangement is still being developed but is likely to include voice and SMS, a range of data services including 5G and shared/aggregated data, devices and accessories, international tariffs, managed/professional services, lone/remote worker services, mobile Internet of Things services, business mobility apps, device insurance and disposal etc, although this may be subject to change as the strategy develops.

Work has commenced in developing the procurement strategy options including canvassing of stakeholders' views. In order to complete and finalise the strategy, Scottish Procurement recognises the value of Suppliers and Industry bodies having the opportunity to contribute to this process on a non-competitive, non-judgemental basis.
To assist with this, Scottish Procurement has drafted a Request for Information (RfI) and suppliers and other interested parties should read, complete and return the RfI attached to this notice and provide their views/comments in MS Word format to Lisa Pittman (lisa.pittman@gov.scot) by midday on 15 June 2022.
This notice is issued for information only and does not constitute a call for competition.
Any collaborative arrangement for Mobile Voice and Data Services will be available to Scottish public sector bodies including the third sector.
Following receipt of the comments mentioned above, Scottish Procurement may engage directly with interested Suppliers to obtain further market intelligence.
