Queen’s University Belfast is developing a Climate Management Strategy which will take the place of our current Carbon Management Plan. This strategy will:• Set a target for achieving a Net Zero target for Scope 1, 2 and 3• Detail costed action plans for reducing scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions including energy efficiency decarbonisation strategy• Detail action plans for engaging staff, students and wider University community in support of delivering strategy targets and aspirations• Set out an off-setting and adaptation strategy for the UniversityThe development of the strategy shall take account of the ideas and views of the wider University community. The University is looking to engage an external consultant to assist with the development of our Climate Management Strategy.
