West Midlands Rail Executive (WMRE) and Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) are developing a package of three new railway stations at Moseley, Kings Heath and Hazelwell within Birmingham City Council (BCC). These will be served by two trains an hour running between Birmingham New Street and Kings Norton.
The West Midlands Combined Authority is running this short market engagement process in order to understand market issues that may affect the procurement and delivery of this scheme.
Potential suppliers are invited to review a market engagement pack, which will provide a high level outline of the scope of works, the contracting strategy, terms and conditions and the procurement process, including timescales. There will also be an engagement questionnaire which requests high level feedback on a small number of factors currently affecting the construction sector. Suppliers will also be invited to attend a project briefing session.
