Direct dialogue on difficult and often contentious issues must be built into the project including clear anti-sectarian and anti-racism work and consideration of how legacy and identity issues from the conflict impact young adults today. The project will be underpinned by youth work principles and practices though youth participation in a co-design process and will engage 164 young people aged 16-24 years old who are disadvantaged, excluded or marginalised across rural and urban areas of the Derry City and Strabane District Council and the border counties of Donegal. The project will provide meaningful, cross-community, intercultural and cross-border programmes.
