Explanation:
New provider would have to arrange for the supply and replacement of all of Clear Channel UK Ltd existing bus Infrastructure (they remain in Clear Channel UK Ltd ownership) provided under the previous 20 year contract. This would mean that any potential new bidder would be at a significant commercial disadvantage from the existing provider. In addition, there would considerable disruption to the road network and public transport Infrastructure during any potential changeover.
